--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Working Group Reflector ---

IEEE 802.11(TM) Letter Ballot 227

To: IEEE 802.11 Voters,

With this email, the 802.11 Working Group is officially beginning WG Recirculation Letter Ballot 227 (LB227), which is a Letter Ballot on the question "Should P802.11ak D3.0 be forwarded to Sponsor Ballot?".

This Letter Ballot opens Wed Dec 21, 2016 at 23:59 Eastern Time USA (11:59PM) and will close 20 days later on Tue Jan 10, 2017 at 23:59 Eastern Time USA (11:59pm). All necessary documents are available in the instructions that can be found on the IEEE 802.11 web site at http://www.ieee802.org/11/LetterBallots/LB227ak/LB227_instructions.html. Note that the ballot duration has been increased as many of our members have public holidays during this period.

Important:
o This is a 20-day Recirculation letter ballot and the ballot group (i.e., those that may vote) for this ballot is the same as that used for the original letter ballot that passed the 75% threshold for 802.11ak, i.e., Letter Ballot 212. o All current voter members of 802.11 are required to vote on this ballot series. o If you have voted on eitherLB212 and 218, you are not required to vote on this ballot. Your most recent ballot will be carried forward.
o If you wish to change your vote, you must respond to this ballot.
o You must follow these instructions to vote. Do not send an email to vote. Voting by any method other than the web-based process described here will invalidate your vote. o Failure to follow these instructions will result in your vote being discarded as an invalid vote. o The draft is password protected in accordance with IEEE 802 Policies and Procedures. To obtain the draft, use the username and the password supplied to active members for the 802.11 WG private area.

(The attached file contains a reminder set for 4 days before the close of the ballot. You may find it helpful to import this into or open this with your calendar client in order to get an automated reminder.)

Thank you for participating in Letter Ballot 227.
