[STDS-802-11] BCS SG -- 2nd call for contributions for May

Hello,

this is the 2nd call for submissions to the BCS SG as contributions to
the upcoming May face-to-face meeting and to the upcoming, scheduled
telefone conferences.

Early submissions, in particular early presentation of submissions during
an upcoming telefone conference, are encouraged.

Without limiting the call, the BCS TIG/SG identified the following topics of primary interest:

	• Definition of “broadcast services”
	• Gap analysis for broadcast services
		• How can it be achieved with existing 802.11
		• What are the implications / performance issues with existing 802.11
	• Expected benefit / performance increase (e.g. 3 times better)
	• Security requirements
		• Privacy
		• Authentication (end-to-end vs per link)
		• Trust model
	• Higher layer protocols to work with
		• What are they?
		• What are their demands
	• Elaborating the broad market potental of broad cast services
		• Use-cases and scenarios for broadcast services over 802.11
		• Vendors, users, and stakeholders interested in BCS for 802.11
