[STDS-802-11] Change of Closing Plenary Date/ Re: Announcement of IEEE 802.11 Working Group 2020 September Interim electronic session

Dear 802.11 members,

Due to an unavoidable conflict, and the belief that necessary business can be conducted in the allotted time, the September Interim electronic meeting Closing Plenary date is changed, as shown below:

The 802.11 Working Group opening plenary will be held 2020-09-14 Monday from 9-11am Eastern Time.
The 802.11 Working Group closing plenary will be held 2020-09-18 Friday 21 Monday from 9-11am Eastern Time.

This email announces the 2020 September IEEE 802.11 Working Group Interim electronic session, with the required 30 day notice.

The 802.11 Working Group opening plenary will be held 2020-09-14 Monday from 9-11am Eastern Time.
The 802.11 Working Group closing plenary will be held 2020-09-21 Monday from 9-11am Eastern Time.

The one week session duration provides additional time for subgroups to meet during the session. The agenda will be posted at least 14 days prior to the opening plenary.
We will hold subgroup officer confirmation and affirmations, please see below.

Task Group Chair

The TG Chair shall be appointed by the WG Chair and confirmed by a WG majority approval. The TG Chair is re-affirmed every 2 years: one session after the WG Chair is elected.

Task Group Vice-Chair

TG Vice-Chair is elected by a TG majority approval and confirmed by a WG majority approval.  The TG Vice-Chair is reaffirmed every 2 years; one session after the WG Chair is elected.

Task Group Secretary

The TG Secretary shall be appointed by the TG Chair and confirmed by a TG motion that is approved with a minimum 50% majority. The TG Secretary is re-affirmed every 2 years; one session after the WG Chair is elected.
