India Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has begun a public consultation "Need for a new legal framework governing Telecommunication in India" that seeks comments on the creation of a new legal framework to keep India in tune with
changing technology. There are discussions on spectrum management in the paper especially about the expectation that the new framework would bring to the spectrum usage.

The comment closing date is Thursday 25 August 2022. If you would like IEEE 802 LMSC to submit a comment, please prepare a contribution to IEEE 802.18 to review and consider approval by Thursday 11 August 2022.
