On 7 August 2023, China MIIT began a consultation that seeks public comment in abolishing the following two normative documents related to 40 GHz to 50 GHz bands:a) Circular No. 2013 No. 500:
Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Issues Regarding Frequency Use of Point-to-Point Wireless Access Systems in Fixed Services in the 40-50 Gigahertz (GHz) Band
b) Circular No. 2013 No. 502:
Notice of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Publishing Matters concerning Frequency Use of Broadband Wireless Access Systems in Mobile Services in the 40-50 Gigahertz (GHz) Band
For the Circular No. 2013 No. 502, parts of the contents may be related to IEEE 802.11aj.
Ths comment submission deadline is 10 September 2023.
If you would like IEEE 802 LMSC to submit a response to the administration, please prepare a contribution to IEEE 802.18 to review and consider approval no later than 3pm ET, 31 August 2023.
