Re: [STDS-802-11] Draft response to Thailand NBTC's consultation re the lower 6 GHz band

--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Working Group Reflector ---
Dear colleagues,

Thank you very much for the lively discussion on the draft response during the IEEE 802.18 call earlier today.

Revision 1 is now posted based on the discussion:
https://mentor.ieee.org/802.18/dcn/24/18-24-0036-01-0000-proposed-response-to-thailand-nbtc-s-consultation-re-technical-requirements-on-the-lower-6-ghz-band.docx

Next steps:
1)  Ben checks the two introductory paragraphs about IEEE 802.15 and provides any update as necessary.  We also encourage all, especially those who are active in IEEE 802.15, to share with us any comments that you deem appropriate to improve the text about IEEE 802.15, especially about IEEE 802.15.4-2020, IEEE 802.15.4z-2020, and IEEE P802.15.4ab.

2)  Further discussion required among the authors on the argument of listing the AR, XR, MR applications as an example for the Standard Power mode.

Thanks and Regards,
Edward

Dear 802.18 participants,
cc. 802.11, 802.15, 802.19 participants,

Regarding the Thailand NBTC's consultation on the draft technical requirements on the lower 6 GHz band, a few individuals prepared a draft submission and it is now available for your review/comment:

The plan is to review this submission in our IEEE 802.18 teleconference call later today (3pm ET, March 28).  Depending on the feedback, we may ask IEEE 802.18 to consider approval in the next IEEE 802.18 teleconference call on April 4.

Thanks and Regards,
Edward
