On 9 April 2024, Brazil's national telecommunications authority, ANATEL, recently began a public consultation "Collection of inputs about the role of connectivity in the development of AI" that seeks public's opinion on the following topics:- Standardization and regulatory action
- Uses and impacts of using AI in communication networks
- Business models and competition
- Social and environmental aspects
- Data Protection
- Construction of a public observatory of initiatives that demonstrate the integration between the universes of connectivity and Artificial Intelligence
