[STDS-802-11] FCC NPRM on Unlicensed Ultra-Wideband devices

Following the FCC Open Commission Meeting today (30 September 2026), the commissioners approved NPRM that proposes changes to update UWB device rules to address modern use cases.

The final version of the NPRM will be uploaded to the Federal Register in the near future.  

Comment submission date is 30 days after the Federal Register publication. Reply comment date is 60 days after the Federal Register publication.  Once it is available on the Federal Register, we will set the internal deadline for any proposed 802 LMSC response.
