Example...

The purpose of TG4j is to create an amendment to 802.15.4 which defines a physical layer for IEEE 802.15.4 in the 2360 to 2400 MHz band and complies with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) MBAN rules. This amendment may also define modifications to the MAC needed to support this new physical layer.

TG4j received NesCom approval December 7th 2010. The TG4j PAR can be viewed here. TG4j held its first meeting at the 802 Interim meeting in Los Angeles January 2011. During this meeting the group agreed to technical requirements and issued a Call for Proposals.

Technical Requirements were agreed to at the January 2011 meeting.

A Call for Proposals was issued January 20th 2011. Proposals will be presented at the March Plenary, to be held in Singapore, March 13th to 18th 2011 and at the May Interim meeting, to be held in Palm Springs, May 8th to 13th.
