            IEEE 802.15.3c Call for Intent (CFI)  The
            IEEE 802.15 Task Group 3c is developing a millimeter-wave-based
            alternative physical layer (PHY) for the existing 802.15.3 Wireless
            Personal Area Network (WPAN) Standard 802.15.3-2003. 
               The
            Project 802.15.3c has released the following Call for Intent. 
               CALL
            FOR INTENT: Due 11 December. 2005
              (Revised from due 11 Nov. 2005) 
              The
            Call for Intent is a process in which all interested parties are
            asked to identify their intention to submit proposals for an
            alternative candidate PHY to the IEEE Std 802.15.3. 
              YOU
            MUST DECLARE YOUR INTENT BY 11 December
            2005.  
            You
            may decide later, if necessary, to retract your intent, but it must
            be declared.  All
            declarations must be submitted on or before 11
            December 2005. 
            The goal is to have all the proposals presented during the May
            2006 Interim meeting.

            James Gilb
            and Hideto Ikeda.
