In the San Francisco Plenary session, the 802.15.4e draft (d6P802-15-4e_Draft_Standard) was approved by the 802.15 WG and LMSC executive committee to proceed to Sponsor Ballot.  The 802.15 WG has approved the Ballot Resolution Committee (BRC) with the responsiblity of resolving comments and editing the draft as per the comment resolutions.  The Sponsor Ballot voting pool closed on 17 July with 180 voters.

The Sponsor Ballot opened on 27 July 2011 and  closed on 28 August.  The first recirculation of P802.15.4e opened on 14 October and closed on 24 October with the following results:

166    votes received (92% response)
155    affirmative votes (98% affirmative)
3    negative votes with comments
0    negative votes without comments
8    abstention votes (4% abstention)

68 comments, 56 marked as "must be satisfied"

The 68 comments from Recirc-1 were resolved (see doc 15-11-0576-11).  The BRC voted to approve the resolutions.  Draft P802.15.4e-D07 was  edited as per the comment resolutions and revised to P802.15.4e-D08.  The revised draft is now in Recirc-2 and will close on Monday, 7 November.
