(1) Draft Development and Revision
- MAC draft: detailed outline of a unification plan, leading to supplement to Invitation to Contribute for Session #8.
- Editorial process: determine the authority and responsibility of MAC and PHY Editorial Committees (e.g., right to handle comment resolution, subject to appeal). Refer to Document IEEE 802.16-00/16. Coordinate MAC draft development with Editorial Committee to ensure that contributed document is in good shape to quickly move to Working Group Letter Ballot.
(2) Validation
- MAC Validation Committee issues: SDL modeling; MAC simulation framework; traffic models. Outline plan and define responsibilities.
- PHY Validation Committee issues: propagation and channel models; power amplifier models. Outline plan and define responsibilities.
