One of the primary goals in 802.21 is to reduce the overall handover time when transitioning across different heterogeneous networks.

If you could highlight the kind of timing issues that you have in mind and some background information around it, that would be a good start.

Please feel free to contact 802.21 Chair/Vice Chair or myself separately for details on how to go about doing this.

Is the 802.21 group concerned with timing issues related to handoffs? Symmetricom is in the business of precise timing and we would like to make some contributions in this area if it will help enhance the standard.
