Dear IEEE P802.3ds Task Force Participants,
The IEEE P802.3ds 200 Gb/s per Wavelength MMF PHYs Task Force will hold a session in October/November 2026 consisting of the following:
- Electronic teleconference meeting on Tuesday, 20 October 2026 from 11 AM to 1 PM EDT (UTC-4) and on Wednesday, 21 October 2026 from 10 AM to 1 PM EDT (UTC -4). Registration and meeting fees for the electronic teleconference meetings on 20 & 21 October 2026 are not required. These meeting days do not count toward IEEE 802.3 Working Group voting membership.
- Face-to-face meeting during the IEEE 802 November 2026 Plenary session in Bangkok, Thailand on Tuesday, 10 November from 8:00 AM to 12:15 PM ICT (UTC +7), covering AM1 and AM2 sessions. Details regarding the meeting and registration for the IEEE 802 November 2026 Plenary may be found at https://web.cvent.com/event/dd9e7eae-068c-4e29-b3e4-c4b26b4022bb/summary . Please note that registration and payment of the registration fee are required for all individuals participating in the 10 November meeting (in-person or virtual). Remote access will be provided on a best effort basis. The 10 November meeting counts toward IEEE 802.3 Working Group voting membership.
The Draft Agenda for the October/November 2026 Session is as follows:
- Consideration of comments submitted during the 4th Task Force review, D1.3, and supporting contributions. Comment resolution against D1.3.
- Note - Any presentation requests not addressing comments against the draft will be heard pending time availability.
Presentation Deadlines and Procedures
For the 20 & 21 October meeting days:
Requests for presentation time for the 20 & 21 October meeting days must be made by Friday 16 October 2026, 5 PM EDT (UTC -4). Regarding Relative Cost Analysis
Presentations addressing relative cost analysis may require IEEE Risk management review if individuals do not follow guidelines provided in IEEE SA Anti-trust policy available at http://standards.ieee.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/antitrust.pdf.

Please note that such IEEE Risk management review can take up to ~30 days. Individuals not budgeting sufficient time for review may have presentations scheduled for later meetings to allow these reviews.
