IEEE 802.3 200 Gb/s per Wavelength MMF PHYs Study Group

With the approval of the IEEE P802.3ds PAR on 10 December 2025, the IEEE 802.3 200 Gb/s per Wavelength MMF PHYs Study Group has completed its charter and transitioned to the IEEE P802.3ds 200 Gb/s per Wavelength MMF PHYs Task Force Task Force. The IEEE P802.3ds Task Force home page is http://www.ieee802.org/3/ds/.

On 1 August 2025, the IEEE 802 LMSC chartered a Study Group under the IEEE 802.3 Ethernet Working Group to develop a Project Authorization Request (PAR) and Criteria for Standards Development (CSD) responses for "200 Gb/s per wavelength Multimode Fibre (MMF) optical PHYs".
