Dear Colleagues,
The draft agenda for the July 2026 Plenary meeting of the IEEE 802.3 400 Gb/s/lane Signaling Study Group will be to address feedback on the draft documentation (the PAR, the CSD and the existing objectives). While several presentation requests were made,
all of the requests were not proposing changes to the PAR, the CSD, or the existing objectives and the submitters agreed to bring their contributions to a future electronic teleconference meeting.
As a reminder, the 400GPL meeting during the IEEE 802.3 July 2026 Plenary session will be the morning (AM1/AM2) of Wednesday, 15 July 2026. Together, we will work to efficiently respond to the comments from the other IEEE 802 groups. This is to make
more time for P802.3dj D3.1 comment resolution since that work is laying the foundation for 400GPL. (Please note that 3dj plans to start early if the 400GPL Study Group ends early.)
Lastly, I want to remind all meeting participants to review the following documents prior to participation in an IEEE 802.3 meeting teleconference:
IEEE SA pre-PAR patent policy
IEEE SA Copyright Policy
IEEE SA Participation Policy and Code of Ethics
With regards,
-Kent
