[802.3_B10GAUTO] IEEE 802.3cy D3.0 comment I-22

We still need to resolve comment I-22 on D3.0. I suggest that we resolve this comment with the following edits:

• On page 104, line 14, change “adjusted to make the values at DC and Nyquist frequencies real” to “adjusted to make the values for k=0 and k=K_N real”
• On page 104, line 30, change “extension of the signal above the Nyquist frequency, as in Equation (165–24)” to “extension of the signal for k from K_N+1 to N-1, according to Equation (165–24)”

 

It is misleading to use the term Nyquist in this context, since it did not refer to the Nyquist frequency as defined on page 134. It is also enhances the clarity of the text to explicitly use the index k, rather than using generic nomenclature like DC and Nyquist.
