All,
Mr. Law sent the message below to the DIALOG reflector earlier today.

Please note that there have been some updates to the comments received, as
individuals withdrew their comments and / or changed their vote to
"approve".

Mr. Lusted has uploaded new reports on the comments received to reflect
their latest status.  

Comments received during Working Group ballot of D2.1 have been posted on
the TF website at https://www.ieee802.org/3/df/comments/index.html

Dear Colleagues,

The 1st IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE
P802.3df 400 Gb/s and 800 Gb/s Ethernet closed successfully on 24th June
2023. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the
draft. The IEEE P802.3df Task Force will start consideration of the 55
comments submitted, and determine changes to the draft as appropriate, at
the July 2023 plenary session

comment database has been announced on the IEEE P802.3df Task Force
reflector.

The ballot statistics are:

 264 Voters
 173 Approve
   3 Disapprove 
  15 Abstain
 191 Ballots returned

  72% Response Rate (> 50% required)
   7% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  98% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
