Dear Colleagues,
The 4th IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot of the amendment IEEE P802.3dj 200 Gb/s, 400 Gb/s, 800 Gb/s, and 1.6 Tb/s Ethernet closed successfully on 12 February 2026. The ballot exceeded the required 75% threshold for consensus approval of the draft, and no comments were received. As a result, based on the conditional approval granted at the 3 February 2026 IEEE 802 LMSC teleconference meeting, IEEE P802.3dj will now proceed to Standards Association balloting.
The ballot statistics are:
245 Voters 191 Approve 1 Disapprove 16 Abstain 208 Ballots returned
84% Response Rate (> 50% required) 7% Abstain Rate (< 30% required) 99% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
