All,
Individuals are reminded to review the 'IEEE SA guidelines for commenting on draft standards in Standards Association ballot (Balloters)' <https://standards.ieee.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Guidelines-for-Commting-on-Draft-Standards.pdf>. As noted in these guidelines, 'A valid technical or editorial comment should identify a specific issue and the proposed change in sufficient detail so that the Comment Resolution Group (CRG) can revise the draft so that the draft may satisfy the commenter.'. A comment may be rejected during comment resolution on the basis that the comment does not contain sufficient detail so that the CRG can understand the specific change being suggested by the commenter.
Regards,
John D’Ambrosia
Chair, IEEE P802.3dj Task Force
