[802.3_SPEP2P] 802.3dg - FW: Recording attendance in IMAT

All - please note that while I routinely check the attendance on webex and on IMAT to compile our minutes, the official record of 802.3 is IMAT. Take the time to sign into IMAT when we are using it for attendance (that is, during 802.3 interims and 802 plenaries). Usually there are a few who forget each meeting. I have even been one of them. However, when you have a couple hundred attendees and several task forces, those add up. See note below from David Law.

Subject: [STDS-802-3] Recording attendance in IMAT

Dear colleagues,

The volume of requests the IEEE 802.3 Recording Secretary, Jon Lewis, is receiving from individuals asking to have their attendance added to IMAT after meetings close has reached an unsustainable level. As a reminder, there is no requirement for the IEEE 802.3 Recording Secretary or any other IEEE 802.3 officer to do this. As a result, as I announced at the January 2023 IEEE 802.3 Interim meeting, if the volume of these requests does not reduce by the end of the March IEEE 802.3 plenary session, we will no longer accept such requests.

Please ALWAYS remember to sign into IMAT during the meeting.

Thanks, and best regards,
  David
