All – I have updated the website again, adding the agenda for tomorrow, and modifying the proposed PMA electrical power spectral density (PSD) specifications. From the discussions, I believe the revisions
offer a better starting point. Remember, we need to get technically complete – these can be modified in initial WG ballot, and I expect individuals will be working to validate them for working group ballot comments. The new modifications are the result of private feedback from task force members, and are: The transmit PSD shapes are aligned with clause 96, which better matches a PAM high-frequency rolloff, provides better control of the pulse shape and EMC emissions, and also allows a higher PSD in the low
frequencies, improving performance. The lower PSD mask is revised to start at 5 MHz to allow for high-pass spectral shaping due to the running disparity constraint in the PCS. Editorially, the 1 the order of 1.0Vpp and 2.0Vpp modes are reversed in the text to read better. Thank you to those who provided feedback.
