Dear Colleagues, The initial Standards Association ballot of the IEEE P802.3dg 100 Mb/s Long-Reach Single Pair Ethernet amendment closed successfully on 5 February 2026. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The 12
February 2026 IEEE P802.3dg Task Force interim meeting <https://www.ieee802.org/3/calendar.html> will consider the 53 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability
of the comment database has been announced on the IEEE P802.3dg Task Force reflector. The ballot statistics are: 115 Voters 84 Approve 2 Disapprove 3 Abstain 89 Ballots returned 77% Response Rate (>= 75% required) 3% Abstain Rate (< 30% required) 97% Approval Rate (>= 75% required) Thank you to all who participated in this ballot.
