Re: [802.3_SPMD] Calendar update - 802.3dg May Interim

Thanks Chad – I had gotten it in reverse.  I was thinking you were guarding against the possibility that da would need the extra time for comment resolution – since that was timely business.

All – consider that dg OR da may meet Wednesday morning, as time requires.  If it is dg, I will know by Tuesday evening and issue a new webex.

Adding the DA reflector, along with the DG reflector.

George, you might have missed my scheduling note that I sent only to you recently. DA and DG have Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday AM to split. I’ve scheduled DA for all day Monday and DG has all day Tuesday. I’ve booked Wednesday AM as DA IF NEEDED, and we will know if we need it at the end of the day Monday. The thought was to also allow DG to overflow into that time, if available and needed. I’d hope that DA wouldn’t need more than all day Monday and maybe one 2 hours slot on Wednesday, meaning DG should be able to use one of the 2 hours slots Wednesday morning.

This is my attempt to be more flexible with the available time without having the headache of joint TF meetings. The groups are nearly 100% overlap, so it shouldn’t be an issue to let the groups know the time is there and we MIGHT use it for either TF.

Subject: [802.3_SPEP2P] Calendar update - 802.3dg May Interim

All – please take note that I have posted calendar information for 802.3dg’s meetings at the IEEE 802.3 May 2025 interim In New Orleans, LA USA.

Webex information may be found at the 802.3 calendar website (https://ieee802.org/3/calendar.html) .

802.3dg is scheduled to meet Tuesday May 13 starting at 8AM Central Daylight time.  We will break for lunch (12:15-1:15PM) and are planned to conclude at 5PM Tuesday May 13.  There is only one day during the interim for 802.3dg. If it appears we have more business than we have time for, I will schedule telephonic interims as needed.

Please be reminded that requests for presentation time are due Monday prior to the meeting – that is one week from Today, May 5, 2025, AoE.  A draft of the presentation for posting is due Wednesday May 7, AoE.

Because I am traveling that week (specifically Wednesday and Thursday) I will extend the time for sending a draft to Thursday, May 8 AoE – BUT would still require the request on Monday.
