[802.3_SPMD] homework on comment 5

Comment 5 was about adding a PICS for the ‘shall’ we added in D3.0 on 45.2.1.235.3 multidrop ability in the 10BASE-T1S/10BASE-T1M PMA status register.

The editor’s proposed resolution to write out the shall in 45.2.1.235.3 is correct, and it is aligned with the text existing in the base standard for 10BASE-T1S multidrop mode, which does not have a shall here.

So, I support the editor’s current proposal:

PROPOSED ACCEPT IN PRINCIPLE

On page 48, Line 51:

Change, "For 10BASE-T1M, this bit is always set to 1 and writing to bit 1.2297.10 shall have no effect."

to, "For 10BASE-T1M, this bit is always set to one. Writing to the corresponding control register bit, 1.2297.10, does not change bit 1.2298.10."
