[802.3_COM] Investigating Odd Cases with Noticeable Different COM Results with Two Quantization Noise Methods

Hi All,

 

Some may recall during my supporting presentation for commit request 4p9_1 on the topic of COM code for quantization noise, I presented COM difference between two fast and slow methods. Out of 336 case, two odd cases showed unexpected large differences. I continued to look at this issue and have found the root cause. Please note that there will be no change to the code and no further update as a result of this. The issue was related to something general beyond quantization noise.
