[802.3_PDCC] New documents available for review

Two items to inform the PDCC ad hoc about: 

1] IEC TC 64/MT 2: IEC 60364-5-52 Committee draft

The IEC 60364-5-52: Low-voltage electrical installations Part 5-52: Selection and erection of electrical equipment Wiring system (64/2802/CD) committee draft was circulated on 28 November 2025 with a closing date for comment of 20 March 2026. The CD to the IEC TC 64/MT 2 is uploaded to the private area at: https://www.ieee802.org/3/ad_hoc/PDCC/private/MT2/index.html (top hyperlink). 
The direction provided to the IEEE 802.3 Category C liaison Expert  is to 'Encourage referencing of ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 25/WG 3 cabling standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 11801), rather than duplication of requirements in IEC 60364-5-52, unless IEC TC 64/MT 2 identifies missing requirements, which preferably should be communicated to ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 25/WG 3 for addition to their cabling standards.'. The liaison believes this has been archived so far based on subclauses 521.2, 522.1.3, and 522.2.2 of the current IEC 60364-5-52 CD, but it would be good for the PDCC to confirm this. This will be an agenda item at our next PDCC meeting.

[2] IEC TC 65/SC 65C/MT 63444

A new MT 63444 private page has been created: https://www.ieee802.org/3/ad_hoc/PDCC/private/MT63444/index.html. Three documents have been uploaded behind the private area password. The comment deadline has passed for two of them, although if there were a particular concern, I suppose we could still send a liaison letter. The IEC 61158-2-0 Industrial networks - Fieldbus specifications - Part 2-0: Physical layer specification and service definition - General concepts and terminology NWIP, however, is still open for comment. I invite input for consideration at an upcoming PDCC meeting.
