[802.3_NGEPON] NGEPON Contribution on bandwidth demand forecasting for Ottawa

Hi Howard,
Please find attached a contribution on traffic bandwidth demand forecasting based on some modeling that we've done that we'd like to present at the upcoming Ottawa NGEPON meeting.  We discussed an earlier version of this file on a "socialization" call yesterday that Saif had kindly arranged (also announced on NGEPON list).  We received a lot of good feedback from the call participants and updated the attached version per group requests.

Since this version is in slide format, we also plan to generate another contribution for Ottawa with proposed text for TR sections 4.2.2 and 4.3 based on the slides.

Any other comments or requests based on this material are also welcome.

I've attached an ALU contribution related to material proposed for 
Section 4.2.2 of the NGEPON Technical Report ("Bandwidth consumption - 
projections").

Pending the outcome of discussions on tomorrow's call, we'll work to 
generate proposed text for that section ahead of the September 9 Ottawa 
meeting.
