Re: [802.3_NGEPON] November plenary contributions posted online

Dear colleagues,

We have a room (Mission B) available to us tomorrow between 9 and 11 am. I would suggest that we have a 2 hours’ long meeting tomorrow, finish with presentations and discuss the action items for next meeting.

Regards

Marek Hajduczenia

Dear colleagues,

A presentation from Eugene Dai (http://www.ieee802.org/3/ad_hoc/ngepon/public/14nov/ngepon_1114_dai_1.pdf) was added to the public directory for today’s meeting.

A request to individual authors: please confirm whether all your submitted presentations are present in the directory for this meeting and accounted for.

Thank you,

Marek Hajduczenia

Dear colleagues,

All contributions for November meeting in San Antonio, TX, USA received so far were posted online at the following URL: http://www.ieee802.org/3/ad_hoc/ngepon/public/14nov/. Post-deadline and updated contributions are marked accordingly. The anticipated meeting agenda is posted at http://www.ieee802.org/3/ad_hoc/ngepon/public/14nov/ngepon_1114_agenda.pdf. It looks that we will have a very busy schedule and it is possible that some of the post-deadline contributions might be moved to the next meeting in January 2015.

The Editors have generated proposed responses to all receiver comments and posted them in the private directory: http://www.ieee802.org/3/ad_hoc/ngepon/private/report/NG-EPON%20IC%20Report%20R08%20comments%20proposed.docx.

I am looking forward to seeing you in San Antonio.

Best Regards,

Marek Hajduczenia

Dear colleagues,

All contributions received so far have been posted online at the following URL: http://www.ieee802.org/3/ad_hoc/ngepon/public/14nov/. The call for contributions is still open, but I would like to ask for submissions by 28th of October EBD to give our colleagues travelling internationally for the Sunday interim meeting time to review presentations in advance. Presentations submitted from the floor will be considered on best-effort basis with consent from ad-hoc, giving priority to draft review, any comments received on the draft, and contributions received by the deadline.

===============================================================================

Call For Contributions:

During the upcoming meeting in San Antonio, we will focus on addressing any received comments on the NG-EPON IC draft report, resolving any outstanding work items, and discussing contributions submitted to the ad-hoc. We have still a few items open, namely:

- advanced modulation schemes in access

- tunable transmitters and receivers

- optical amplification

- advanced FEC

Your contributions addressing any of these topics would be most welcome.

Given that out meeting is now kindly hosted by FSAN, please note the change in the meeting registration fees at the following URL: http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/san_antonio_1114.html. Contact me directly in case of any questions or doubts.

I am looking forward to seeing you in San Antonio.
