[802.3_NGEPON] Huawei develops 100G TWDM-PON

Hesham,

 

Since it was a public and factual-in-nature article, I think it was appropriate to send the link to the reflector.

I would like to suggest that it would be very interesting for NG-EPON group to learn more about the approach that Huawei used in this demo. Do you think Huawei will be willing to present a tutorial at the next NG-EPON meeting?

While commercial equipment for 40-Gbps time and wavelength division PON (TWDM-PON) has just been announced, Huawei says it has demonstrated 100-Gbps versions of the technology in the lab. The company says it has achieved 4x25-Gbps TWDM-PON transmission, verified via a lab prototype.
