Thanks for the note.

 

It’s unfortunate that Nendica & 3dm overlap but I don’t think I can fix that. I can make sure that I cover the key parts of the material in the first 30 minutes of the Nendica call.

 

I encourage 3dm participants who are also interested in 10BASE-T1S/M to:

  1. review the CFI deck and discuss with the CFI leads (Yong/Markus)
  2. review my draft material for the Nendica call (links below) ahead of the Nendica meeting, or ahead of the Montreal plenary
  3. attend the consensus building meeting (see https://schedule.802world.com/schedule/schedule/show)

Peter - unfortunately, there is a dm interim on july 9 overlapping with the Nendica meeting except for the first half hour of Nendica (dm starts at 6:30 pacific and is 4 hours long)

Your attendance may suffer.

Folks,

 

As those on the 802.3 NEA call on May 21st will have heard, I have significant concerns about the current CFI deck for 10BASE-T1S Differentiated Services.

 

I have been discussing this with various individuals for several months, and I’d like to get my view of this out for people to consider.

 

I’ve put together a writeup on this (attached) and I plan to present on this in the near future. Since it involves both 802.l and 802.3, I think IEEE 802 Nendica is the appropriate forum. I will work with Johannes and 802.3 NEA leadership to figure out the appropriate schedule (maybe a joint call?).
