[HSSG] IEEE 802.3 September Interim Session - September 2007 - Seoul, KR - 2nd. Announcement
Colleagues,
This is the second announcement of the IEEE 802.3 September Interim session
in Seoul, KR. The session will be jointly hosted by Samsung, ETRI and the
Korea Ethernet Forum. Please read the information on the meeting Website

The airport is Incheon International Airport
http://www.airport.or.kr/eng/airport/. The Interim is in about three weeks,
so please make sure you book your hotel and register as soon as possible.

Group Name: IEEE802.3
All meetings will take place at The Shilla Hotel. The Sofitel Ambassador is
a lower-cost alternative hotel approximatly 15 minutes walking distance from
the Shilla Hotel. The Hotel Shilla will provide a shuttle bus.
Both hotels provide complimentary breakfast and internet access in the room
rates.
Reservations can be made with your hotel of choice through its web
reservation sites above. Alternatively reservations can be made by
completing and then faxing the reservation forms above for your hotel of
choice. Please ensure you mention IEEE 802.3 so that you get the correct
room rate.
The reservation deadline for rooms in our block is August 31st, 2007. The
special room rate will be available until August 31st or until the group
block is sold-out, whichever comes first. Reservations made after that date
will be accepted on a space available basis. Everyone is encouraged to
reserve a room as quickly as possible. Reservations must be guaranteed with
major credit card.
The following cancellation policy applies: In the event of cancellation,
written notification has to be sent to your hotel. The following
cancellation fees will be charge to your credit card automatically.
Cancellation between 6 and 3 days prior to event, 50% of Daily Room Charge.
Cancellation 2 days or less prior to event, 100% of Daily Room Charge.
Meeting Registration
The pre-registration fee is $250 (USD) and the deadline for web registration
for these sessions is 6 PM KST, Friday, August 31th 2007 (UTC time 9AM
Friday, August 17th, 2007). After that time, the registration fee is $300
(USD) for on-site registration. The registration fee will cover meeting
rooms, AV equipment, network services, power hook-ups for laptop computers,
Morning and Afternoon Refreshments, and meeting services/supplies.
To pre-register there are two options.
Option 1 - If you are staying at the Shilla hotel and book your room through
the web site there is a tick box to pre-register.
Option 2 - If you do not use this option please send an e-mail to the local
organizer eric_ryu@samsung.com with an email titled "IEEE802.3 Seoul Meeting
Registration" with your personal information.
There is no cancellation fee, but the pre-registration is to count the
actual number of attendees for better preparation. Please inform your
attendance ASAP when you decide to.
