[STDS-802-3-NGBIDI] IEEE P802.3cp Bidirectional 10 Gb/s, 25 Gb/s, and 50 Gb/s Optical Access PHYs 3rd IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The 3rd IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3cp Bidirectional 10 Gb/s, 25 Gb/s, and 50 Gb/s Optical Access PHYs closed successfully on 11th December 2020. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The Friday 18th December 2020 IEEE P802.3cp Task Force meeting https://ieee802.org/3/calendar.html  consider the 39 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The ballot statistics are:

 195 Voters
 126 Approve
   6 Disapprove
  17 Abstain
 149 Ballots returned

  76% Response Rate (> 50% required)
  11% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  95% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)

We will consider the resolutions to these comments at our next meeting, which is Dec. 18 at 13:00-16:00 UTC.
