[802.3_100G-OPTX] D2.1 recirculation ballot results



Forwarding on the message from David Law on the results of our D2.1 recirculation ballot.

We have 33 comments to resolve and will be starting at next week's Interim teleconference on Tuesday 5/19.  Comments are posted on our comments page here: http://www.ieee802.org/3/cu/comments/index.html

    Dear Colleagues,

    The 1st IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the amendment IEEE P802.3cu IEEE P802.3cu 100 Gb/s and 400 Gb/s over SMF at 100 Gb/s per Wavelength closed successfully on 10th May 2020. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The upcoming IEEE P802.3cu Task Force teleconference interim meetings <http://www.ieee802.org/3/calendar.html> will consider the 33 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3cu Task Force reflector.

    The ballot statistics are:

     177 Voters
     101 Approve
       4 Disapprove 
      18 Abstain
     123 Ballots returned

      69% Response Rate (> 50% required)
      14% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
      96% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
