Dear Colleagues,
The 2nd Standards Association recirculation ballot of the amendment IEEE P802.3dk Greater than 50 Gb/s Bidirectional Optical Access PHYs closed successfully on 28th November 2025. The ballot exceeded the required 75% threshold for consensus approval of the draft. The 3 and 4 December 2025 IEEE P802.3dk Task Force interim meetings <https://www.ieee802.org/3/calendar.html> will consider the 24 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3dk Task Force reflector.
