[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3dg 100 Mb/s Long-Reach Single Pair Ethernet 2nd IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot results



Dear Colleagues,

The 2nd IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3dg 100 Mb/s Long-Reach Single Pair Ethernet closed successfully on 15th December 2025. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The 19 December 2025 IEEE P802.3dg Task Force interim meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 21 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database has already been announced on the IEEE P802.3dg Task Force reflector.

The ballot statistics are:

 250 Voters
 161 Approve
   0 Disapprove 
  29 Abstain
 190 Ballots returned

  76% Response Rate (> 50% required)
  15% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
 100% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
