[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3dm Asymmetrical Electrical Automotive Ethernet initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot of the IEEE P802.3dm Asymmetrical Electrical Automotive Ethernet amendment closed successfully on 13 June 2026. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The July 2026 IEEE P802.3dm Task Force meetings <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 494 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3dm Task Force reflector.

An additional 25 comments were received after the ballot closed, these comments will be marked as 'late' in the comment report and will be considered by the IEEE P802.3dm Task Force if, based on a vote, if necessary, there is no objection to do so.

The ballot statistics are:

 245 Voters
 109 Approve
  32 Disapprove 
  19 Abstain
 160 Ballots returned

  65% Response Rate (> 50% required)
  11% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  77% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
