Important information update for all potential 802 attendees:
Please Note: the deadline to Web Pre-Register and save $50 is
Friday, February 21, 2003 at 6pm PST, so please register NOW !!!

There are still a few rooms available at the Hyatt Regency DFW.
Please notify the 802 Meeting Planners at Face to Face Events,
should you have any problems making your room reservations.
Currently there are no plans for an official overflow property,
so if you want to get into the IEEE 802 Room Block, you will
need to make your room reservations immediately (remember, you
can cancel until 6pm of arrival date without penalty, if your
plans should change). But if you miss your chance to get a room
at the Hyatt Regency DFW, while there are some other choices,
they will NOT be cheap or convenient for attending the meeting.

The 802 Conference rate is $139.00 + tax per night for
single/double/twin occupancy. These rates are available from
March 2 through March 21, 2003 subject to room availability.
Please make your room reservations directly with the hotel
using the IEEE 802 Hotel Web-Reservation Form or by phone.
When making reservations by phone, please be sure to identify
yourself as a member of the IEEE 802 Group to qualify for
these special group rates.
If you should miss getting a room at the Hyatt, please ask to
be put on the 802-Wait-List, since we do have late cancellations
and the hotel will contact you when rooms are available.
It's also smart to check with the hotel during the week
prior to the meeting for the status of your request.
