Hello James and all,

To date, one candidate, Robert Stacey, has expressed interest/agreed to Chair the IEEE 802 IETF Standing Committee going forward after the upcoming July Plenary. In this role, he will also serve as co-chair of the IEEE 802/IETF Coordination Committee.

I will serve in this role through the July 2025 plenary session.  The EC should consider the following, or similar motion at the upcoming LMSC July Closing Plenary:

Confirm Robert Stacey as the Chair of the IETF Standing Committee.
