Re: [802-LMSC] July LSMC Closing... Updated Agenda
Hi James,
Thank you for your review of the agenda and your comments on the IEEE 802.3 items.
Please see my comments in response below.
Best regards,
David

[1] 5.033: Was there a CSD for this project?
There was no CSD for this project since it was a revision. I will note this in the motion I will bring to the IEEE 802 LMSC tomorrow.
[2] 5.034: I guess that no CSD is present for the revision project because one wasn't created when the PAR was initially approved?
Just to clarify, this is an 'extension request' for IEEE Std 802.3-2022 under subclause 8.1.2 of the 'IEEE SA Standards Board Operations Manual' which says 'After the three-year period, RevCom shall defer consideration of additional amendments or corrigenda until a revision or a two-year extension request is approved by the IEEE SA Standards Board.'. I, therefore, don't think a CSD is applicable, and since it was a revision, there isn't a CSD associated with the project that developed IEEE Std 802.3-2022.
[3] 6.033: IEEE 802.3 Pin-Optimized PHY Interface Study Group (first rechartering)
I made an error in the title of the item. It should have read 'second rechartering'. The motion is therefore correct. I have requested that the approval of the IEEE P802.3dq PAR and CSD developed by this Study Group be included in tomorrow's agenda, but it will not be on the consent agenda. This is because the IEEE 802.3 Pin-Optimised PHY Interface Study Group did not meet to consider the comments received from other Working Groups until after the deadline for consent agenda item requests.

Dear Beth, David and Clint Powell
Beth
Please change item 3.03, moving it to internal business, as follows:
4.xyMI
Formation of YANG Standing Committee and confirmation of SC Chair appointmentMansfield10
The version I downloaded of the agenda had a problem in 5.0201:

Please delete 8.07

Add to section 9:

David
5.033: Was there a CSD for this project?
5.034: I guess that no CSD is present for the revision project because one wasn't created when the PAR was initially approved? if so, it should probably state that in the motion (as Glenn has done).
6.033: IEEE 802.3 Pin-Optimized PHY Interface Study Group (first rechartering)
Motion
Grant the second rechartering of IEEE 802.3 Pin-Optimized PHY Interface Study Group
Is it first or second rechartering. Normally we would pull it from the consent agenda, but if the PAR approval isn't pulled, then approving both at the same time should be fine.
Clint:
The link for the CSD for 6ma (5.054) should be to the ACSD version on mentor. Please update with the correct link, or I will need to pull it from the consent agenda.
Same comment for 5.055 and 5.056.
