I've gone historical, with data I have clear back to 2011.The most we've had committed from the reserves at any one time was $350,000, split between $300,000 for deposits for future sessions, and $50,000 for expenses paid for future sessions (site surveys, preparatory work by meeting planners). I'm getting indications that the amounts for deposits may increase in the future. The most we would have been liable for in cases of complete session cancellation has been in the region of $450,000, which was the amount for many sessions. This is only the penalty to the venue and the hotel, and I do not have data for a few sessions. In addition, there may be penalties to our vendors and social venues. This too may increase over time, but I do not have any data to give.As a data point, the 802 Wireless group has decided that being able to cover two complete cancellations is their goal for reserve levels, which leads to a goal of $1,000,000. The session attendance for the wireless interims is trending to be about 2/3rds of the plenary sessions.I can be available during lunch today and tomorrow, as well as at the social if you want to give input to me in advance of the Friday closing LMSC meeting.--Clint Chaplin
