We will be performing our annual review of subgroups at the July plenary.
If you are the Chair of an LMSC subgroup (see below), please prepare your annual slide, post it to mentor and send Beth and myself the link.
I would like these to be posted prior to the Monday opening meeting and we will consider them as potential consent agenda items at the Friday closing meeting.
Subgroups created by the Standards Committee are: "e.g., Responsible Subcommittees, Executive committees (ExCom), Administrative committees (AdCom), ad hocs, PAR Study Groups, Working Groups, and other subgroups, such as writing groups"
and
"The Standards Committee shall outline all expectations with respect to how the subgroup shall
function, including scope of work, deliverables, membership, and voting in the subgroup. The
charge to the subgroup shall clearly state which activities are appropriate. The scope and duties
delegated to the subgroup shall be approved at the time the subgroup is formed, and subsequent
changes in scope or duties shall also require approval by a majority vote of the Standards
Committee. The scope, duties, and membership of all subgroups shall be reviewed annually by
the Standards Committee."
