Make your hotel reservations now! The IEEE 802 Registration process is now
being updated and modernized (A rough translation of that statement is that
it is a lot later than it should be.) With such great things coming in the
way of automated meeting registration, bear with the process and register
for the meeting once the new process goes online.
Mike has not yet sent out a final agenda for the IEEE 802.17 Working Group.
I would expect to see an RPR Alliance meeting on Sunday evening that should
be of interest to many. I wouldn't be surprised to see formal or informal
802.17 meetings going on Sunday to work through technical details necessary
for us to come to agreement on our objectives. There is no promise now of
those Sunday meetings, but I would assume they will happen. With the
closing SEC (that's Sponsor Executive Committee, or just plain IEEE 802
Exec) meeting happening Friday afternoon, we have until Friday noon to wrap
up 802.17 business.
Plan accordingly.
