2.       July 2021 follow-up items

a.       Webpages, minutes – all minutes uploaded, any updates to Stephen.

b.      Action – Dorothy – check on corrected 11ax, 11ba awards.  Status: Request sent to the awards vendor by IEEE.

 

3.       September 13-21 Planning

a.       Timeline reminder – any updates next week to Stephen

b.      Review Snapshot slides – updates identified.

c.       Review Opening Report – updates identified.

d.      Any WG11 plenary requests – LC communication to ITU-R: Nikola to mention in his snapshot report, ITU AHG to review. Input to 802.18.

 

e.      WG Motions

                                                               i.      TGbb – November Initial WGLB target 2021

                                                             ii.      TGaz – WGLB recirculation out of September 2021, either a changed (15 day) or unchanged (10 day) draft. EC (Conditional or unconditional) approval to forward P802.11az D4.0/5.0 to SA Ballot.

                                                            iii.      TGbc recirculation planned out of September 2021

4.       Completed amendments

a.       TGba award ceremony timeframe at September session. Publication now in September.

 

5.       Cisco Webex registration – slide for chairs to use in agenda announcements

a.       Webex/ registration for the September meeting is required. Robert prepared slide for all TG/SG/SCs to use in their agenda decks to remind attendees of the registration requirement. Robert will resend slide to CAC reflector.

b.       Currently 417 participants are registered. From July, had on order of 10 people still have not paid for July; they have until Sept 21 to pay for July. No further action required during the September session.

6.       802.11 presentation slide updates – reminder

a.       Review and send any further updates. Slides include TGbb, TGbh, and TGbi updates.

 

7.       Future meetings

a.       November 2021 – EC decision on electronic format

                                                               i.      There will be a fee charged: $50 early/$75/$125 late;

                                                             ii.      As for in-person, check afterwards if fee not paid. Validate with current list. Any loss of voting rights is applied after the meeting.

b.      September 2021 session electronic with fee – See the announcement email and referenced document in https://www.ieee802.org/11/email/stds-802-11/msg05357.html .

c.       January 2022 (was Panama)  – Will be electronic, same fee structure

d.      Discussion re: dates and weeks for the upcoming sessions. Preference for electronic to overlap the planned in-person dates to the maximum extent possible. Not always possible due to EC approved schedule. Moved from 5-7 days to provide more AM1 slots (reasonable global time).

e.      CAC calls for the September meeting: Monday Sept 20

8.       IEEE resources re: dominance

9.       Round table

a.       AANI – Technical Report [much progress to address issues raised previously], Reply LS to WBA – possible for the closing plenary (TBD)

12.   Reminder: Recording straw poll results in the minutes: Best practice is to record numeric results (or unanimous) only. Straw polls provide information. They do not pass or fail.
