Re: [STDS-802-11-TGBA] Call for presentations for May TGba F2F meeting

Dear Junghoon,

I gave high priority to the basic operation of WUR.  It seems to me your presentation proposes further optimization to the basic operation of WUR. The priority is not based on whether it passed motion or not. The agenda is approved by the task group so please bring the discussion when the group set the agenda.

Regards,

Minyoung

Hi,
Let me ask you a clarification question.
How many of the topics in Category A to C have already passed related motions?

If you find any topic from A to C for which we did not pass a motion, you have a discrimination on my contribution.
My contribution is related with the Evaluation Methodology Documentation r4 page 4 Section 2, for which we already passed a Straw-poll (or Motion I do not recall which one it is) in March meeting. This is what I want to say "consensus is reached".

Hi Junghoon,

Just to be clear on the task group process. The task group reaches consensus by passing a motion on a technical item. All the passed motions (i.e. technical consensus in TGba) are recorded in the TGba Spec Framework Document (1-17/575r0, to be confirmed with a motion). If there was no motion on a technical item or if the motion on the technical item failed, the task group has not reached consensus on the technical item.

Minyoung

Sure, Minyoung
We can discuss further on Agenda, but I strongly suggest to place it in Category A.

The SNR for 20 MHz intra band interference is defined in Evaluation Methodology Documentation, which means we have a consensus on the multi sub-band scheduling case.

Thank you

Junghoon

Hi Junghoon,

I guess your answer is that the presentation is discussing a proposal on a multiple sub-band transmission in a 20MHz channel. I think this falls into Group F: Further Optimization since the task group hasn’t reached consensus on the basic operation mode of WUR, which is a single wake-up packet transmission in a 20 MHz channel.

We can have further discussion on this item when we set the agenda next week in Daejeon.

Regards,

Minyoung

Hi, Minyoung
The multiple sub-band scheduling was already proposed by Mediatek in January meeting.
This contribution is an interference analysis to accomodate such a proposal. This intra 20 MHz interference analysis is a part of the Evaluation Methodology Documentation.
And, I also do not have a Straw-poll this time.

Thank you

Junghoon

Hi Junghoon,

Does your presentation propose multiple sub-band transmission of wake-up packets in 20MHz? If yes, then Group F: Further Optimization should be the right group since it is proposing further improvement to the spectral efficiency of WUR operation.

Group A is for the presentations that show performance evaluation of the basic single wake-up packet transmission in 20 MHz channel with impairments. Does your presentation evaluate a single wake-up packet transmission in 20 MHz channel?

Minyoung

Hi, Minyoung

Could you place the following contribution to the category (A) PHY performance evaluation with impairments?

1.       11-17/697r0 Multi Sub-band Scheduling, Junghoon Suh (Huawei)

The contribution above is also about Sub-band Interference analysis under the RF impairments.

Both ACI across different 20 MHz band and the Intra 20 MHz band interference are listed in the evaluation methodology documentation.

I think the right place to put the contribution above is the Category (A).

Thank you

Regards

Junghoon

Dear TGba participants,

I have received 44 presentations for the May TGba F2F meeting so far and it is almost certain that we will not be able to review all the materials in the F2F.
