802.17 General Meeting Information:

Presentation Procedures: Those wishing to make a presentation should send email to the 802.17 Chair 10 days in advance of the meeting start date. Please include the title AND short abstract of the presentation, the name of the presenter, a filename for the presentation, and an estimate of the time required.

A PDF or PowerPoint copy of the presentation should be emailed to the chair one week prior to the first session. Subsequent changes to presentations require that the presenter provide the final presentation file for upload during the meeting.

Use of color: Presentations may employ color only to the extent that it contributes to the understanding of the material being presented. Note that use of color often significantly increases the file size with little or no increase in information content or comprehension. PRESENTATIONS WITH BLACK OR DARK BACKGROUNDS MAKE FOR VERY POOR REPRODUCTION AND SHOULD BE AVOIDED. A small (tasteful) logo at the upper corner of the slide is acceptable. A good option is the 802.17 presentation template (included below).

Discussing Costs: For a statement about the use of cost figures in 802 presentations please click here.
