Is there not a factor of 2 missing from these equations.
Store and forward operation will increase the delay per node to be
2 MTUs worst case (assuming a HP packet is an MTU which is not likely).
However, as shown in previous presentation to the WG, the actual
delay at reasonable link speeds is not high and that store and
forward operations decreased the avergae jitter.
