Agenda Items for July Meeting

If you have any agenda items for the July IEEE meeting for which you would like a timeslot for please do lemme know.

 

There were many participants from 802.21 and IEEE 802 in general who attended the recently concluded 3GPP meeting in Orlando.

There were several discussions in SA2 and even in the RAN group in area of general inter-working and handovers between different

non-3GPP (802) technologies and 3GPP systems.

As such, for the July 802.21 meeting several members have expressed interest in holding a half day session (or even a full day depending on

interest and contributions) devoted to  inter-working and handovers between 802 technologies and 3GPP systems.

 

Topics could include the following but are not restricted to these only:

- Summary of current state of relevant 3GPP specs and relevant ongoing activities in 3GPP

- Use cases of interest

- Issues in Network Discovery and Selection

- Overall Mobility Mgmt solution between 802 and 3GPP systems and how 802.21 fits in?

- Others

 

Contributions are invited in this area for the July 802.21 meeting.

Please send me a mail expressing your intent to present along with the title of presentation by July 12, AOE.

The contributions can be submitted until July 15, AOE.
