I tried to run your script CX4_WCmodels.m, it refers to a function: 'fr2ir'
(Matlab response: ??? Undefined function or variable 'fr2ir'.)
that is not in the zipped file.
Could you send it out ?

Attached is a plot of Eye opening vs pre-emphasis setting just
looking at the cable assembly limit line in the current draft. As can be
seen the current 50% pre-emphasis is not centered. Here are the eye
openings with the current specifications, each line is the cumulative
affect:
Transmit peak output = 800mV, Rj for transmitter and receiver = 4.2ps
rms
Eye Margin (10^-12)
CA only: 77mV 71mV
FEXT: 60mV 46mV
NEXT: 1mV -46mV
Retrun Loss: 1mV -25mV
Rj: 0mV -142mV
As you can see the system limits need some adjusting.
Each limit by its self:
Eye Margin (10^-12)
CA only: 77mV 71mV
FEXT: 60mV 46mV
NEXT: 2mV -21mV
Retrun Loss: 0mV -139mV
Rj: 77mV 60mV
I have also included my matlab files that generate the magnitude and
phase for insertion loss, NEXT, FEXT, and return loss.
