[10GBASE-CX4] FW: [802.3] P802.3ak Working Group ballot results

Dear 802.3ak Task Force Members;

In case you did not receive a copy of this email from Bob Grow, we have met
the requirements to close ballot on 802.3ak D4.0.

We will be organizing teams to address comments quickly and hopefully go
into our Portsmouth Interim with thoughtful and complete resolutions. To
achieve that objective, we are forming
three teams.

1) Loss Budget Team: I would like to keep this team intact with the
objective of resolving Loss Budget / Transmitter /Receiver issues and
completing analysis of worst case configurations. Peter Bradshaw has
graciously offered to lead this effort.

2) Cable Assembly Team: Chris Di Minico will be forming up those who are
directly involved in the issues surrounding this part of the spec and
resolving those comments.

3) Everything Else Team: Howard Baumer, our Chief Editor, will group the
comments into categories 1,2 or 3 and distribute them. Any comments that
fall into category 3 will be delegated to individuals who have expertise and
interest is assisting us.

I will be setting up teleconference dates, times and numbers and mailing
them out.

Please contact the appropriate Team Leader to communicate your interest and
willingness to assist in this effort. They can be reached at
mailto:hbaumer@broadcom.com or mailto:CDimi80749@aol.com or
mailto:pbradshaw@bitblitz.com.

Special Thanks to Howard Baumer for his excellent editorial work and for
organizing the ballot comments in record time.

Regards,

Dan Dove

address when they meet later this month.

My thanks to those of you that reviewed the document, submitted comments
(both members and observers) and returned ballots.
